Pool Membership

Policies & Guidelines

Admittance to the pool is gained by first signing in at the front desk. Please understand that you may need to wait in line to sign in, as we have to also take care of our hotel guests. You must present & leave your membership card at the front desk and obtain an electronic key to gain access to the pool area. You may be required to present identification. If you do not have your identification card, you will need to purchase a replacement card ($10.00).

1. Hours of operation are 7:00 am to 10:00 pm seven days a week, 365 days a year except in the cases of force majeure.

2. We ask, as members please bring your own towels. Iris Hotel Cape Cod provides towels for hotel guests only.

3. Iris Hotel Cape Cod - Falmouth is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.

4. Use of the pool and fitness equipment is at your own risk.

5. We do NOT have a life guard on duty.

6. A parent or adult MUST accompany children under 18 years of age. 1 guardian per 4 children.

7. You must be 18 years of age to enter and use the fitness room.

8. Anyone causing unnecessary disturbance or damage will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

9. No food or beverage, or any type of glassware is permitted in the pool area.

10. Your membership is non-transferable - family members are immediate family members only & noted on membership form and membership card.

11. Pool memberships may not be suspended or put on hold for any reasons.

12. No refunds are offered on pool memberships.

13. Diapers are NOT allowed in the pool. Rubber pants or Little Swimmers are required for children 3 years of age and under. Anyone disregarding this policy will be asked to leave immediately.

14. No large floatation devices, diving, running or object throwing in or around the pool is allowed.

15. The pool and / or fitness areas may be closed without notice within reason due to mechanical, maintenance, cleaning or safety issues. Memberships will not be extended during an unforeseen pool closures.

16. A pool lift is available in the pool area for those who require ADA assistance.

Iris Hotel Cape Cod will maintain our commercial public pool required by law and code.

We will abide by the Pool & Safety Act, State of Massachusetts and Town of Falmouth

Tampering with pool equipment, temperature and gauges will result in immediate termination of membership without refund.

This includes opening the emergency exit door in the pool area.

All pool memberships will only be approved per the length of membership purchased. A renewal application must be completed for each new membership purchased. Memberships purchased under a year cannot be extended for the difference. A new membership is required at the time of expiration.


I have read and understood the terms listed on the pool membership application / agreement and will comply with all the practices, policies and guidelines set forth as outlined. I understand that failure to comply will result in the termination of my membership without refund.
